The project aims to detect the range of passive sonar effectively at specific locations, relying on accurate calculations and values. Key variables include source level, transmission loss, and noise level, where transmission loss depends on various ocean parameters and is calculated using the pyramid model and DBN method. Numpy libraries predict noise levels, while a correction factor in the sonar equation accounts for external noises.
