About the Event
The “Charting Progress” webinar, held on July 29, 2025, by the Maritime Research Centre (MRC), showcased mid-internship insights from UDA Summer Interns from diverse liberal arts backgrounds. Interns from prestigious global institutions presented interdisciplinary research on topics related to Underwater Domain Awareness (UDA), including maritime governance, policy frameworks, strategic narratives, and the blue economy. The event aimed to share findings, receive expert feedback, and foster collaboration, highlighting the valuable role of humanities and social sciences in enhancing maritime security and sustainability in the Indo-Pacific region.
