About the Event
The 12th July Mid-Internship Presentations – Part 2 is a key milestone in the UDA Summer Internship Program, jointly organized by the Maritime Research Center (MRC), Pune, and Nirdhwani Technology. This virtual event will bring together talented interns from IIT Delhi and IIT Kanpur to present their mid-internship research findings across a wide range of critical themes including marine spatial planning, sonar simulation, climate risk assessment, sediment transport, and coastal economic modeling.
The goal is to showcase their technical progress, share innovative approaches, and receive expert feedback to further refine their work. Senior professionals from academia, industry, and policy—including experts from KPMG, SIRI Investment Trust, and IndAsia Fund Advisors—will provide valuable insights during the interactive feedback session.
This initiative reflects MRC’s commitment to building capacity in Underwater Domain Awareness (UDA), promoting sustainable maritime development, and nurturing the next generation of ocean and coastal research leaders. The session will also feature remarks from senior dignitaries, reinforcing the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation in this evolving field.
