His objective is to enhance current policies by reviewing sedimentation issues and policy frameworks, drawing insights from successful mitigation efforts in the Yellow River. The research highlights anthropogenic activities and soil erosion as key contributors to sedimentation. This study is crucial for managing the Brahmaputra’s significant water and hydropower resources.
